Meals are provided by INITA, a school catering company.
The supplier is registered in the Healthy School Canteen project and works closely with regional producers, with a strong emphasis on quality ingredients. These include, for example, a small bakery in Rudná near Prague, which supplies artisan bread and fresh baked goods for children’s morning and afternoon snacks. Fresh fish and fish products come from a fish farm in South Bohemia. Once a month, children are served organic venison from the Křivoklát forests, and occasionally meat from pasture-raised cattle from the Šumava region.
School meals follow nutritional standards and financial limits for food purchases set out in Decree No. 107/2005 Coll., as amended. When planning the menu, we take into account the consumer basket, which forms part of this regulation.
The supplier works in cooperation with a nutrition specialist to ensure that children's dietary requirements are met in accordance with current regulations and the consumer basket.
We also comply with Decree No. 350/2021 Coll., as amended, effective from September 1, 2025. This regulation sets out hygiene requirements for catering services and defines nutritional standards for children aged 1 to 3 years. The specific requirements are set out in Annex No. 2 to this decree, which reflects current expert recommendations in the field of nutrition for young children and emphasizes the quality of raw materials, a varied diet, and support for regional producers.
