The General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter also referred to as “GDPR”) is EU legislation that came into force on 25 May 2018. The purpose of this regulation is to provide the highest possible level of protection for the rights of EU citizens against the unauthorised handling of their data and personal information. The General Data Protection Regulation applies to all Member States of the European Union (including Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein), thereby unifying the protection of personal data across the European area.

As part of the childcare services provided within the children’s group facility, we collect a significant amount of personal data. Therefore, this information also applies to you as the legal guardians of the children.

You will be asked to sign two documents: Information on the Processing of Personal Data and Consent to the Processing of Personal Data.

In the document Information on the Processing of Personal Data, you will find information about who acts as the controller of your personal data and how you can contact our Data Protection Officer. The document also explains what personal data we process and for what purposes. Furthermore, it specifies who may receive personal data and outlines your rights.
